Custom Projects
The following photos share with you the care and quality that goes into our projects. Time and careful consideration go into each project to assess what the customer wishes to see in the finished product, and then is passed on to meet that goal. We are very proud of our work and our repeat business shows that our customers also agree.
Our Canvas Shop makes custom items to specifications, and ships anywhere in the world.!!
Here is a custom cover built to the specs sent to us. It is a sunshade for a glider (swing) on a customer's back patio.
The item was shipped to Elgin, IL. and the customer installed it, and stated it fit perfectly

Besenzoni Gangways make access much easier!!
No matter if they are on the yacht or the pier!
Normally when you see powered gangways they are mounted or installed aboard the yacht. This project was a bit different than most. The client needed easier access to his yacht from his dock while it was still on the lift. But didn't want to use up the limited space on his back deck permanently. Utilizing my line of Besenzoni Gangways via Imtra Marine Products, I was able to custom make a powered gangway, mounted to the dock, Only after reinforcing the dock first.
"BELOW DOCKS"
We started by providing power via 12VDC group 24 battery along with a 1.5a charger/maintainer and an outdoor grade timer set to run a 4 hr cycle each day then shut off. The battery stays at or close to 100% without boiling. All put together in a slick little package built on a custom shelf underneath the dock!
ABOVE GROUND CONTROLS
We were able to utilize the existing pod for the lift, to add the dockside controls, wireless remote eye, and on the bottom a marine grade thermal breaker, that also acts as a manual disconnect when the gangway is not in use.

The woodwork was fabricated by Byron Smith, Owner of Smith Southern, Inc. Delray Beach Fl. Byron also owns a 42. Lee Dahlen, owner of Glassic Boatworks, cut holes, Wired the instruments by Faria and put all the pieces together along with used OEM controls purchased on Ebay by the owner. More photos of the project below.
In 2008 Rob decided he would like to add a synchronizer. So again we called upon Byron Smith in Fla, Sent him the synch and asked him to fabricate a "pod" that would match the custom dash he had previously fabricated for us. Below are the pictures of the installation process.
